How to Install Wordpress Locally on your PC and practice making Websites



Hello friends today in this post I will show you how to install wordpress locally on your pc and practice making websites. This is very useful to them who cannot afford a custom domain. You can use it to make beautiful wordpress websites. It is also useful to them who want to design websites and later they can move it to an active website. So I will make a full series on this topic. So in this post I will show you how to install wordpress locally on your pc. In the next post I will show how to move wordpress from local server to an active server.

  • So first of all you need to install a software :- Bitnami. You can download it from the below link.
  • Once you have downloaded the software open and then install the software. You can view instructions below:-





  • Step 3:- Enter your login username, example:-admin [Don't forget your login username. You will need it while configuring your wordpress site]
  • Step 4:- Enter your password and remember it as you will need it later.
  • Step 5:- Click Next
  • Step 6:- Enter you site name
  • Step 7:- Click Next
  • Step 8:- Uncheck the option
  • Step 9:- Click Next
  • Step 10:- Check the option
  • Step 11:- Click Next
  • Step 12:- You are done! Your software is installed.
  • Step 13:- Once your browser is opened click Access Wordpress
  • Step 14:- If you want to customize your site just add login after your domain url.
Congrats!Your Wordpress site is installed on your on pc locally.
